How to get it right
- Put it at the brightest window you have, ideally with a few hours of direct sun.
- Water much less than you would outdoors; indoor soil dries slowly and stays cool.
- Expect slower growth and leggy stems; pinch the tips to keep it bushy.

- Placing it in a bathroom or dim passage and wondering why it drops leaves.
- Overwatering in winter, when the plant is barely growing.
